Kaskaskia College Announces Kick Programming for July in Salem

The Office of Continuing/Community Education at Kaskaskia College would like to announce the schedule for KICK (Kids in College at Kaskaskia) classes to be held in July at Bryan-Bennett Library located at 315 South Maple in Salem.

Arts and Crafts – This class will include a variety of fun and creative artistic projects.  Students are asked to bring their creativity and imagination to have some fun.  This class will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and is for students in Kindergarten through third grades.  The cost is $15.00 and the registration number is CKICK-5278-SA01D. 

Learning About Ocean Life - This class will allow students to journey under the sea as they dive into an eye-opening experience of the ocean.  The instructor will teach about all of the many wild and wonderful creatures in the ocean.  This class will be Monday, July 8, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and is for students in Kindergarten through third grades.  The cost is $15.00 and the registration number is CKICK-5293-SA01D.

Learning About Dinosaurs – Students will enjoy this unique, prehistoric learning adventure that allows kids the opportunity to explore the world of dinosaurs. The instructor will take you through an exciting adventure of prehistoric time.  This class will be Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and is for students in Kindergarten through fifth grades.  The cost is $15.00 and the registration number is CKICK-5292-SA01D.

Storytelling and Puppet Making – Students will be able to explore a great children's book with fun and exciting activities.  This interactive class may include creative dramatics, puppetry, music, movement and crafts.   The class will be Monday, July 15, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and is for students in Kindergarten through third grades.  The cost is $15.00 and the registration number is CKICK-5277-SA01D.
