Registration for classes for the 2013 Summer Semester at the Kaskaskia College Nashville Education Center is now in progress and applications are still being accepted. Students can apply at www.kaskaskia.edu and click “Apply Now".
Classes offered at Nashville for the Summer 2013 Semester include: Financial Accounting, Tax Accounting, Introduction to Art, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology 121 and 122, Microbiology, three sessions of Intro to Word Processing, two sessions of Microsoft Excel (Beginner), three sessions of MS Powerpoint (Beginner), Principles of Economics, Intro to College Composition, English Composition 101 and 102, First Year College Experience, History of Western Civilizations, two sessions of History of Diversities, Human Health and Wellness, Basic Mathematics, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Intro to Contemporary Math, Math for Elementary Teachers I, Math for Elementary Teachers II, Medical Terminology, Two sessions of Basic Life Support, Logic, two sessions of Core Values/Ethical Decision, Political Science, two sessions of Life Span Growth and Development, two sessions of Psychology, three sessions of Sociology, Marriage and the Family, and two sessions of Fundamentals of Speech.
Non-credit offerings include: Fun Computer Projects, Computer Virus Protection, Web Page Design I, Recycled Jewelry, Home Canning, and How to Buy and Sell on Ebay.
These course offerings are a great opportunity for university students who are home for the summer to save time and money by taking a summer class at KC to transfer back to their institution and get them one step closer to their degree!

Kaskaskia College Advisor, Ericka Niedbalski, will be available to meet with students from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. on June 1 at the Nashville Center. Students are encouraged to make an appointment however, walk-ins will be accepted.
