Field Trip Packs

from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources

Early childhood educators can borrow this resource here!

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Education has developed a new educator resource, and it’s ready for you to use. Field Trip Packs were developed for loan to early childhood educators (grades prekindergarten through three). Each pack is a backpack that contains hands-on equipment to encourage young children to engage in nature exploration. Suggestions for educators on how to incorporate natural-resources related topics into the curriculum are also included.
