Inclusive Access

The Inclusive Access program is a new textbook model in collaboration with top publishers that converts books into digital content. All students in a class buy into the content, lowering the cost for everyone. All students in that class get access to the content on the first day.

Inclusive Access FAQ’s

  1. How will I get my access code and book?

With Inclusive Access your access code and eText is integrated with the college’s learning system, Blackboard. Both the course content and the eText will be available digitally on the first day of classes.

  2. Am I able to get a physical copy of the book?

Of course! A loose-leaf copy of the textbook is available in the Bookstore at a discounted rate for Inclusive Access classes. Visit the Bookstore for additional information.

  3. What if I decide to “Opt Out?”

You can Opt Out through this link until the last day of the “Add/Drop” period (usually the first two weeks of classes for a 16 week class). You are responsible for obtaining the materials for this class and will no longer be eligible for the discounted rates available to the Inclusive Access opt in students.

  4. I opted out by mistake. Can I opt back in?

Yes! You will have until the last day of the “Add/Drop” period. Please Opt in through this link.

  5. I have additional questions. Who can I contact?

If your question has not been answered here in this FAQ, please email kcbookstore@kaskaskia.edu or visit the KC Bookstore for more information.
