Leslie played women’s basketball while attending Kaskaskia College from 1998-2000 scoring 1349 points in 58 games and averaged 23.3 points per game.  Leslie set a single season national scoring record for junior colleges in 2000.  She was a member of the 1999-2000 Division I All American Team and was named to Second Team All American in recognition of her efforts.  She was also named to the Academic All American Team, All Region 24 Team and All Conference Teams in 1999 and 2000.  Leslie made 81% of her free throws, 47% of her field goals, and 42% of her three point shots.  As a sophomore, she was sixth in the nation in     1998-99 with 22.8 points per game and in  1999-00 was third in the nation with 24.8 points per game.
