Bill Hawley

Bill Hawley’s name is synonymous with south central Illinois sports. The voice of the Salem Wildcats since 1971, Bill also served as the voice of the Kaskaskia College Blue Devils and Blue Angels; calling some of the most memorable games in those teams’ histories. Bill's service to Kaskaskia College runs deep; serving as a board member since 1986 providing leadership at the local, state, and national levels by promoting the community college mission and philosophy and assisting to make Kaskaskia College a world class institution of higher education serving an enrollment in excess of 12,000 students.
During his time on the Board of Trustees, the college has witnessed a significant increase in the quantity and diversity of athletic programs offered at Kaskaskia College as well as the development of expanded athletic training facilities. Bill has the unique distinction of being a member of the SCHS Hall of Fame, the Kaskaskia College Hall of Fame and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
