Title: Supervisor, Space Planning

Location: St. Louis, MO

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Supervisor of Space Planning supervises the design, planning, organization, and managing activities related to the space planning needs of the facilities managed by Building Service.  Key responsibilities include:

- Direct project management for all phases of interior renovation projects including supervision and coordination of contractors and other company personnel to complete projects.

- Review floor plans to ensure conformity with applicable codes and other regulatory requirements.

- Develop policies and procedures related to interior design, construction, and move management.

- Direct the development of master occupancy plans and space standards. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree in a business or technical field preferred.  Professional Registration in Architecture or Interior Design for Missouri and/or Illinois is preferred.

Experience

Five or more years of combined experience in commercial office design and project management required. Experience supervising professional staff is preferred.

Other

Excellent communication, project management and computer skills. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. Thorough understanding of building codes required.
