Title:  Substation Relay Tech 1st 9mos
Location: Mattoon, IL

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Install, commission, test and maintain the following equipment:
Electro-mechanical and microprocessor based protective and control relays.
Internal circuitry on high voltage transformers and circuit breakers.
SCADA (supervisory and telemetry) RTUs.
Perform high voltage switching and other duties that support primary duties.
Available location is in Mattoon, IL.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology or equivalent class work in
accordance with Relay Technician in training agreement between the company and Local 702, dated 12/19/97.
Valid driver's license.
Availability for overtime and emergency call-outs.
High level of computer literacy.
Knowledge of data communication protocols (e.g.  Modbus, DNP 3) a plus.
Prior experience in electric and gas utility or high voltage industrial environment.
