The position is based out of Highland, Illinois, with primary responsibility to support the Troy, Illinois and Pinckneyville, Illinois sites.
Ability to travel to both sites on a frequent basis is required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SKILL SETS
•Minimum of Bachelor degree in Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or similar. Strong interpersonal communication skills
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Experience in basic EHS program requirements, including accident investigation, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, life safety, machine
guarding, air permitting, wastewater, hazardous waste, property conservation, and workers’ compensation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL SETS
•ASP, CSP, CHMM or similar certifications
•Experience with Storm Water Pollution Prevention, Spill Prevention/ Control, Air Permitting and Hazardous Waste Management
•Ability to create site specific strategies and drive subsequent action plans to meet requirement results.
•Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization
