In this position, you will be responsible for reworking electronic products such as Chassis Control Modules, Roof Control Modules, All Wheel Drive Modules etc.


1.Converses with production operators to ascertain if problems are due to human error or mechanical problems.
2.Tests faulty products and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction.
3.Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects.
4.Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts.
5.Maintains records of re-work and tests.
6.Enters information into computer to copy program from one electronic module to another (re-flash).
7.Writes Technical reports and develops charts, to describe and illustrate system’s operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications and functional limitations.
8.Evaluate and report on customer returns.
9.May be required to train others on various company standards.
10.Strive for continuous improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities.


•Associates degree (A.S.) in Electronics
•A minimum of 2 years experience in Electronic assembly repair/rework is preferred.
•Must be able to work in a team environment.
•Minimum Training Requirements - Must successfully complete the following Computer Based Training courses:
-IPC-24 – "Handling in Electronic Assembly" (CBT0000005)
-CD-32 – "Intro to Electronic Assembly" (CBT0000003)
-CD-33 – "Intro to Surface Mount Technology" (CBT0000002)
-CD-42/43 – "Hand Soldering for Through-Hole Components" (CBT0000006)
-CD-49C – "Seven Sins of Hand Soldering" (CBT0000004)
- IPC-54 – "Electrostatic Discharge Control" (CBT0000001)

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
