There are some changes coming to the Jane Knight Auditorium this year as the Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees and the KC Friends of the Fine Arts are working to extend the stage to allow for more interaction between the performers and the audience. The plan is to cover the orchestra pit with a portable cover, adding additional 10 feet to the stage. The cover can easily be removed in case the orchestra pit is needed for any performance. Once the addition is installed the stage depth in the Jane Knight Auditorium will be 37 feet. Plans are to have the addition installed by the end of February.
