We hope you join us in becoming a volunteer tutor with “The Reading Link”. Teaching others to read is a very rewarding
experience! Volunteers can help in various ways. A few of these are:
- tutor a learner one-to-one in a public location
- tutor a small group of students in a GED class
- help with clerical duties in one of our offices
- assist with fundraising
Training consists of an orientation and a day-long training that is held at
Kaskaskia College campus, normally on a Saturday. Orientations are held in several locations to make
it convenient to our tutors. If you have any questions or would like to inquire about training
