The College has made great strides in enhancing the aesthetics of its picturesque Campus. Included in these improvements is the installation of a signature walkway sign along the Shattuc Road. This sign is collegiate, striking and eye catching, and marks the area defined in the Master Plan as a walkway entrance from the Shattuc Road.

The walkway was completed in September 2009. It is a twelve-feet wide concrete walkway and is 890 feet long with lights poles built along both sides that provides students living in the student housing across the Shattuc Road a safe and convenient walkway to Kaskaskia College.
