Kaskaskia College is pleased to announce Mathis, Marifian, and Richter, Ltd. of Nashville has recently pledged $5,000 to the Nashville Center Campaign.
According to attorney shareholder Brad Small, “The lawyers at Mathis, Marifian,and Richter,Ltd are committed to Washington County and the KC Nashville campus. With my service on the KC Foundation board for over 20 years and our firm's support for our Nashville office, it only makes sense to support this worthy project”.
Mathis, Marifian, and Richter,Ltd. has offices in Belleville, Edwardsville ,Nashville and St. Louis.
As part of its capital campaign master plan, Kaskaskia College plans to expand the Nashville Education Center from its current location with 3,500 square feet of leased space to a building to be constructed at Route 127 and Exchange Avenue with 12,000 square feet of instructional and community space.
The new center will include classrooms and Nursing and Science laboratories, along with computer class rooms and a Distance Learning classroom. The highlight of the spaces will be a block of four classrooms that can be opened up into one large space that can accommodate seating for 108 at tables or 246 in open seating, which will allow for larger gatherings and seminars. The new building will also have an open computer lab for community as well as student use, and three Business Incubator offices that will house three small business startups, with technology and administrative help for prospective entrepreneurs.
