“Appreciating Nature” Class To Be Held Through KC Vandalia Campus

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer an “Appreciating Nature” class on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The registration number is COED 5104 VA01E.

 

This trip will include Rock Cave located a short distance from Altamont on Route 128 N. Participants will see upland and ravine forests, a permanent stream, sandstone cliffs and rock formations. Did you know Rock Cave is the only area of its kind in the Illinois Nature Preserve System? It is, and you can join us on a beautiful spring evening and discover its wonders! From St. Elmo at Junction Hwys. 40 & 128, take Hwy. 128 north a few miles. The nature preserve is east of the highway.  The cost for this class is $10.00.

 

Students may register through the Vandalia Campus by calling 618-545-3445 or the Department of Industrial and Continuing Education at Kaskaskia College at 618-545-3255.  Space is limited, so please register early.  All students must pre-register for this class.
