The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Kaskaskia College will host a workshop entitled “Starting a Small Business in Illinois” on Monday, September 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kaskaskia College Workforce Center located at 325 South Poplar Street in Centralia.
Topics to be covered include: how to develop a business plan as well as a marketing plan; how to get organized and maintain records. Other topics include determining the form of your business organization plus legal and financial basics.
The fee for the non-credit workshop is $10.00 and pre-registration is required. Call 618-545-3429 to register. A minimum of six persons must register for the session to be held and the registration deadline is one week prior to the workshop.
The Illinois Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) at Kaskaskia College is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and Kaskaskia College as a service to Illinois small businesses.
