Openings Remain For Fall Entry Into Kaskaskia College Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Kaskaskia College is announcing that openings remain for entry into the Fall 2013 Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. The mission of the DGMS Program is to provide comprehensive educational opportunities that will enable the graduate to become an entry-level sonographer. The program is designed to develop and instill a sense of obligation in the student to become a contributing member to the profession.
Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is an occupational program beginning only each fall semester, which prepares students for entry-level employment. Graduates are awarded a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The program includes both classroom work and Diagnostic Medical Sonography clinical education in the areas of physics, abdomen and ob/gyn.
Prospective students must have an A.A.S Degree in an allied health program or a Bachelor’s Degree with prerequisite coursework. Additional information can be obtained at www.kaskaskia.edu/dgms.
