Kaskaskia College will offer a Utah Concealed Carry Course on Saturday, April 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Kaskaskia Room on the College Main Campus.
The Utah CFP permit training class takes 4 hours. Firing of a firearm is not required to obtain the Non-Resident Utah concealed firearm permit. The permit is valid for 5 years and training is not required for renewal. Utah concealed firearm permit is recognized by 30 states for Illinois Residents. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington State, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Firearm Safety Group will provide the training and will include all the training materials, photos, and fingerprint cards. Students must submit official fingerprints with their Non-Resident application.
Completion of the Utah Concealed Carry Course allows Illinois citizens to apply for a Utah Concealed Carry permit. This permit does not allow an Illinois resident to carry a concealed weapon in Illinois but does allow the resident to carry a concealed weapon in 30 other states.
Class fee is $100.00. Pre-registration and payment is required and must be received by April 22, 2013. Space is limited per class – so reserve your spot today.
