Incentives
Students who are accepted into the Honors Program will receive the following benefits:
- $150 scholarship per semester towards books and supplies in KC bookstore
- Early registration (one week before all other students)
- An assigned counselor/faculty advisor
- Recognition on the graduation program
- Recognition as they walk across the stage at graduation
- Special assistance with transferring to the four-year college of their choice
- Assistance with transition to four-year college Honors Program
- Money in budget for one special field trip per semester for the entire group
- Public recognition at on-campus ceremony
- Recognition at a Board of Trustees Meeting
