    • 80% of those asked either took or are taking classes themselves, their children or grandchildren, parent or spouse took or are taking classes, or have taught or are teaching for KC.

    • 89% answered that it was a good experience
       
  5. Do you believe that Kaskaskia College does a good job in providing education and training opportunities for the citizens of the College district?
    • 100% of those interviewed stated that the College does a good in providing good education and training opportunities for the citizens of the area. However, several stated that more needed to be done.
       
  6. How would you rate Kaskaskia College on a scale of 1 to 10?
    • All comments placed the College between 8 and 10 on the scale.
     
  7. What would make Kaskaskia College a better institution?
    • New campus
    • Bigger facility
    • Add more programs
    • More technical courses to help people find jobs
    • More parking
    • Offer more 4 year degree programs
       
  8. As stated in the case for support, the Kaskaskia College Foundation is considering launching a major gifts campaign to raise the funds for a state of the art Vandalia Campus. In your opinion, will concerned, community-minded citizens give or pledge the $2.8 million to fund this new campus?

    • "Keep people informed."
    • "Don't get too brazen."
    • "Keep historical theme intact."
    • "Approach factories and local businesses to pledge funds."

    • "You need to start on it soon to draw people into this project."

    • "Get some KC students to write editorials as to why we need the campus."
