All students are required to submit placement test scores prior to enrolling in an English or math course. The accepted placement scores are from the ACT, KC Placement, or PARCC tests. These tests provide information about a student’s readiness for college level work. If a student has taken the ACT or PARCC while in high school, the test scores will be available on the high school transcript.

Students who have not taken the ACT, or wish to improve their math, reading and writing placement, should take the KC Placement test prior to registration. To arrange a time to take the KC Placement tests, call the Student Success Center at 618-545-3160. Appointments are available Monday thru Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Summer hours are subject to change.
