"Competition takes students out of their comfort zone. Their confidence levels definitely rise after competitions and you can really see what they're made of. Most of the time, they surprise themselves with the level of success they reach. Watching their smiles beam from their faces when they're standing on the winners' podium with medals around their necks is a beautiful moment and one I'm always honored to share with them. My best advice for any cosmetology student is to shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars!"
