Architecturl Residental Design (DFTG-209)

Description: This course provides a practical approach to residential architectural design. Specific areas of study include: Designing a home from ideas derived from the student. Developing a cover sheet, foundation plan, floor plan, roof plan, exterior elevations electrical plan and plumbing plan. Emphasis is on standardization and implementing standard practices in architectural drafting. Students will complete activities to create not only good technical skills but also practice soft skills and work ethics throughout the entirety of the course.
