Intro to Contemporary Math (MATH-130)

2013 Summer 
Location: Nashville

Description: A selection of mathematical principles to better understand issues in a contemporary society. The focus is on mathematical reasoning and the solving of real-life problems rather than routine skills and appreciation. Topics include mathematical modeling, probability and statistics, graph theory, and linear programming. Prerequisite: Math placement at MATH 130; or the completion of MATH 107 with a grade of C or better. Refer to placement chart in college catalog for detailed information.
