Description:
Participants will learn that blood borne pathogens are micro-organisms in the blood stream that cause diseases such as Hepatitis B and HIV /AIDS; learn how blood bore diseases are transmitted; determine how to manage an injury that causes bleeding; and the importance of treating all blood and potentially infectious materials with the proper precautions.
