Pharmacology & IV Access (PARM-150)

Description: This course explores the various medications used throughout the medical industry. It presents an overview of pharmacology, with a discussion of drug classifications. The course details the fundamental paramedic skills of medication administration by intravenous and other routes as well as an overview of medical mathematics including dosage calculations. Concurrent enrollment in PARM 120, PARM 125, PARM 132.
