CAD Theory (DFTG-126)

Description: This course introduces both basic and advanced dimensioning and hatching techniques with AutoCAD. Topics covered include using the geometry calculator. Students will learn how to use AutoCAD to draw and edit polylines, create section lines and graphic patterns; design symbols and attributes for multiple use. Student's drawings will be plotted. This course also introduces recommended drafting standards and practices for students to use for properly preparing drawing with AutoCAD. Prerequisite: Completion of DFTG 122 with a grade of C or better.
