Animal Anat and Phys I (VTEC-112)

Description: This course provides an overview of the structure and function of animal body systems with a focus on homeostasis. Subjects covered include: fundamental cellular chemistry, physiology, cytology, histology, and anatomy of mammalian and avian species. Laboratory work includes observation of histology slides as well as identifcation of structures from each system on selected mammal cadavers. Prerequisites: Admission to program.
