Fundamentals of Nursing II (NURS-104)

Description: This course focuses on implementation of the assessment of the adult and pediatric patient. Includes intravenous therapy, fluids and electrolytes, hematology, oncology, and common disorders of the integumentary system. Nursing skills and related concepts are presented in the classroom and clinical setting. Prerequisite: PSYH 100, NURS 101, NURS 106, BIOL 121, NURS 107, and NURS 109 or consent of Director of Nursing. Prerequisite or concurrent: BIOL 122, NURS 105.
