Description: This course is designed for the first year CT student. This course emphasizes the knowledge of recognizing and identifying protocols and image procedures for performing CT images. The interpersonal and professional responsibilities of the health care professional will be delineated. The patient is the primary concern of the CT technologist and certain responsibilities relative to individual patient care must be performed at the highest standard. Prerequisite: All computed tomography students must have graduated from a two-year, allied health program and show proof of certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT).
