Auto Fundamentals and Servc (AUTO-119)

Location: Main Campus

Description: This course covers basic skills and terminology. Students receive experience in preventative maintenance including replacing belts, hoses, filters, fluids, and performing visual inspections. Identification of fasteners, fittings measuring tools, and hand tools will be covered. Instruction of engine theory and operation leads to a foundation for more advanced levels of the automotive training courses. AUTO 119 qualifies for the District Tech Prep Agreement. Co-requisite or prerequisite: AUTO 111.
