Tennis Coaches Valjean Lueking 618-322-7422 vlueking@kaskaskia.edu   Coach Valjean Lueking is a lifelong resident of the Hoffman area.  He played 2 years of college tennis at Kaskaskia College under Coach Jim McKee whom he credits with developing his interest in the sport.     Valjean is a graduate of both Kaskaskia College and SIU-Edwardsville.  He remains active playing USTA tournaments, is a USTA umpire and presently working on ITA collegiate certification.  Valjean was also a member of the winning WTT corporate challenge team who qualified for nationals.   Valjean has been married to Denise Scott Lueking for 26 years and has a daughter Ellen who is a junior at Greenville College.  He is proud that all of his family members have graduated from Kaskaskia College.  The KC area has a long tradition of tennis and he hopes to see a continued growing interest in tennis and is very proud of the tennis complex at KC.  The courts will be a showcase when hosting future tournaments and summer camps.
