Mary Ann Bohbrink
Coach Mary Ann Bohbrink played an immense role in the beginning of women’s sports at Kaskaskia College, as the first coach for women’s basketball, volleyball, and softball. In 1975, she coached the inaugural seasons of women’s softball and volleyball. Mary Ann took on basketball coaching duties in 1976. Lauded as a great role model by her players, her personality and dedication made for a successful program.
Bohbrink passed away in 2007 and was posthumously inducted into the Kaskaskia College Sports Hall of Fame.
