Leslie Olajimbiti begins her first season as the head coach with the Kaskaskia College Women’s Basketball
team. Olajimbiti is coming into a program that finished fourth in the national tournament and she is
eager to continue that success. “I am excited about being the head women's basketball coach at Kaskaskia
College,” said Olajimbiti. “I know the team had a lot of success last year and I hope to step in and have
that success continue. Certainly our goals for this year will be to win our conference and make it back to
the National Tournament. Kaskaskia has a family atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. I feel like my
coaching philosophy and ideals match very well with the ideals of the college. I'm thankful for the
opportunity given to me, and look forward to getting started as soon as possible.”
Olajimbiti’s coaching career began at Northwestern High School in Springfield, Ohio where she was the
assistant coach for two seasons (2003-2005). During the 2006-2007 season, she was the head coach at
Olympic College, a community college, in Bremerton, Washington. She spent the last two seasons (2007-2009)
at NCAA Division III, Defiance College as an assistant coach where she also earned her Master of Arts degree in Education.
Olajimbiti started her playing career at NCAA Division I Wright State University (1999-2002) before
transferring to Cedarville University where she finished her playing career and graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in English.
Olajimbiti married her husband, Amos, August 29, 2009 and they currently reside in Hoffman, IL.

Addae Houston

Addae Houston begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Kaskaskia College women’s
basketball team after a two-year coaching career at Northwest Missouri State University.
Prior to joining the women’s basketball staff at Northwest, Houston played for the men’s team
starting 35 games in two seasons and helped lead the Bearcats to the NCAA South Central Regional
championship game his senior season. He averaged 10.5 points per game in his senior season. Houston
earned honorable mention All-America and team defensive MVP honors in his second season at Eastfield
Community College. He was a first-team All- Region V and first-team all-conference selection and led
Eastfield to a runner-up finish in the NJCAA national tournament.
A graduate of James Madison High School in Dallas, Texas, Houston was a two time all-district selection
and was a part of the state championship team in 1999. Houston earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwest
in social science education.
