Bill Hawley

Bill Hawley is a former teacher and coach at Salem Community High School. Bill is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. He is currently the manager of Wilson and Wilson Monument Company of Odin. He is a graduate of Odin High School and SIU-Carbondale. Bill has been the sports broadcaster for WJBD radio in Salem since 1971. Bill has the distinction of being a member of the SCHS Hall of Fame, Kaskaskia College Hall of Fame, and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Bill is also a member of the SCHS Hall of Fame Committee. Bill currently serves as the College's representative to the Kaskaskia College Foundation. Bill Hawley resides in Odin.

Jim Beasley

Jim is a native of Centralia and a retired superintendent of schools. He has served on the Board of Trustees since 1991.  He is currently representing the KC Board as a representative for the Illinois Community College Trustees Association.  He and his wife, Joyce, reside in Centralia.

Jim Beasley was selected as the “Illinois Community Trustee of the Year” for the year 2007-2008 by the Illinois Community College Trustee Association. This award is officially titled “The Ray Hartstein Trustee Achievement Award” that recognizes a currently serving trustee whose exemplary board service and leadership sets the standard for outstanding trusteeship in Illinois. Mr. Beasley also received national recognition by receiving the 2008 ACCT Central Region Trustee Leadership Award.

Linda Stover

Linda is a life long resident of Centralia, except for 4 years in Carbondale and 3 in Olney.  Linda is currently serving as Vice President of the Board. Linda graduated from Kaskaskia College with 2 Associate Degrees and one Certificate. Linda also graduated from Olney Central College with an Associate Degree. Linda returned to school as a non-traditional student after her two boys were at an age that she felt comfortable doing so. Linda commuted from Centralia to Eastern Illinois University for her Bachelor Degree and she commuted to Carbondale for her Masters Degree. Linda is married to Danny L. Stover. He was employed at Kaskaskia College for 29 years before retiring in 2006. Linda is the Director of Stover and Associates, P.C. in Centralia. She also commutes to her satellite offices in Carbondale, Mt. Vernon, and Marion. Linda, Danny, and their two sons Brennan, and Dannon all graduated from Kaskaskia College.

Dee Boswell
Dee Boswell
Dee Boswell is a retired physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine and served as Staff Physician at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia until his retirement in 1999. Dee served as a doctor in the United States Air Force in 1965-1967 A native of Centralia, Dee served on the Board of Education of the Centralia City Schools for 12 years, is active in Rotary, community affairs, the Salvation Army, as well as a Trustee of the Kaskaskia College Foundation and currently serves as President of the Kaskaskia College Friends of the Fine Arts, member of the Board of the Kaskaskia College Alumni Association and the Veterans Tribute at Kaskaskia College. Dee is presently serving the Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees as the alternate representative to the Illinois Community College Trustee Association. Dee is married to the former Janet Sue Williams. He and his wife are the parents of two children.

Bryan Holthaus
Bryan Holthaus

Bryan S. Holthaus is the Vice-President of Operations for Midwest Emergency Department Services (MEDS). MEDS staffs and manages Emergency Departments throughout Illinois.

Bryan is a graduate of Mater Dei High School and SIU-E. He currently is completing coursework towards a Master of Healthcare Administration at Webster University.

Bryan has been a member of the Board of Trustees since June 2012 and resides in St. Rose.

Courtney Gerstenecker

My name is Courtney Gerstenecker, and I am from Carlyle, IL. I have grown up in a farming family where we grow corn, soybeans, and also horseradish. I graduated from Carlyle High School in May 2012. I was then elected to serve as the State FFA Reporter for the Illinois Association FFA in June 2012 through June 2013 which required me to defer a year of college. I then chose to come back home to Southern Illinois to attend Kaskaskia College for Fall 2013 after my year of service living in Springfield, IL and traveling the state. I plan to graduate from KC in Spring 2015 with an Associates in Science Degree with plans to transfer to Murray State University for Fall 2015. I am involved in Ag Club, Illinois PAS (Postsecondary Agriculture Students), Core Values Team, the Honors Program, STAT (Students Today Alumni Tomorrow), Student Congress, Phi Theta Kappa, and Phi Beta Lambda.
